Springlake is run by Jonas Liljenberg and Jesper Otterbeck, both of whom have many years of experience in developing companies.

Jonas Liljenberg

Jonas Liljenberg is the CEO of Springlake Invest AB. Jonas was born in Gothenburg in 1959 but has lived most of his life in Stockholm. Jonas has a degree in civil engineering from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) in Stockholm.  Jonas has also studied economics at University of Texas in USA and at IMD in Switerland.

Between the years of 1984 and 1988 Jonas worked for IBM in Sweden with sales and as a product manager.

From 1989 until 1992 Jonas worked as a management consultant at Consultus. While there he worked closely together with both the owners and management teams of companies of various sizes with issues related to company restructuring and performance improvement programs. Between 1991 and 1992 Jonas was the CEO of Consultus.

In 1993 Jonas started to work for Accenture (at the time called Andersen Consulting). Up until 1999 Jonas was in charge of the management consulting business in Scandinavia, and on his watch it grew from zero to over 100 consultants and a turnover of more than 300 million SEK. In 1997 Jonas became an international partner at Accenture.

In 1999 Jonas was asked to move to USA to act as a consultant to Accenture’s global CEO and Board in connection with the separation between Accenture (the consulting part of the company) and Arthur Andersen (the audit part of the company). When the separation was completed Jonas stayed in the USA to work on a new strategy and legal/financial structure for Accenture. This led to the company’s IPO during the summer of 2001. During this period Jonas also worked on acquisitions of new companies for Accenture. Between 2001 and 2004 Jonas acted as the chairman of Accenture in Sweden as well as a board member in Meridea (a software company owned by Accenture together with Sampo and Nokia).
